Hi,

I may not able to find the answer throught the posts. How do I use eye dropper on the ipad ? thanks

Two ways!

1. The Color Sampler is up on the top left in the tools menu. It was moved in the 2.0 update last year to be more consistent with the other versions of ArtRage and to allow us to add some extra options in the Settings.

2. Turn on 'Tap and Hold to Sample Color' in the Preferences. This will pick colors when you press and hold on the canvas.

thanks Hannah, can I use "tap and hold" to select color from the painting ?

Yup! It's optional, because some people find it very annoying.

There's a 'Show Sample Lens' option right underneath in Preferences. This will let you have a preview of the color you are selecting show up.

Oh, yes, that's the one I am looking for the "Lens".
