On shorter real time process, I've shown the drawing from the beginning. In order to show more of the painting, so it doesn't go by so fast, I eliminate the pencil part.

I think that your painting is a good start.. Maybe put some more work on details will make the painting look beter.. I think about the hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, nose and skin.

I think it's very good - I slowed down the video so I could see better. :)

The rendering does look great! - I could learn a few things for sure!

Not sure why you would take the drawing out of the video though - I know how frustrating it is for people to assume it has been traced...Good work!

An absolutely convincing portrait in a sort of ad/illustration style.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad it helps.

I have plenty of videos that show the drawing from the pencil stage. Since this was a talk about the painting process and decisions I made, it wasn't needed.

People have assumed I'm tracing, even though I'm drawing right in front of them in a live situation. So it doesn't bother me.

And there's nothing wrong with tracing.

Geez, tough crowd.

Great work! Every bit of it appropriately matches the style of the whole. In particular I find the level of detail, strong lines, solid strokes, and vivid color, present an integrated and cohesive work which is forthright, strong (not overly fancy or fussy) and bold, which matches your subject matter (at least her expression).

I would not change a thing.

Really like the style and the outcome (I love Rihanna too :o), the aspect ratio you chose is perfect for a billboard advertising some tropical juice :o

Terrific. Your video is marvelous - so much can be learned sitting through it.
Thanks a lot for posting.
