Recently I attempted to do a Bob Ross style painting. For the most part I was able to figure out how to translate real world stuff to ArtRage, but one bit gave me some trouble. A technique he uses is 'pushing' the brush in...as in covering the top with paint, then just pushing the top of the brush into the painting. No strokes, no edging, just a push in.
I've been having some issues trying to recreate this, the closest I've pulled off has been a square Brush: Pressure 100%, thinners 25%, loading 13%, aspect 100%, rotation 90%, stiffness 100%. Then I just quickly touch the page as opposed to stroking.
Has anyone come up with a better solution? I've tried teh stickers and havne't found one yet that mimics the effect enough.
Thanks
