Very nice painting of the romance of lighthouses. The sea, travel, ships, history are all a part of the love of lighthouses.

Helps to guide the sheep in foul weather and keeps them from getting dashed upon the rocks.

There have been times I think I would have loved the low maintenance and solitude of such a job. Aren't too many jobs like this around anymore. My guess is that such jobs have been outsourced to other countries. :rolleyes:

... and the best place to paint seascapes as well I guess. Everyhings looks under contro and in order, including the wave splashes, all straight and along the same direction, so that You may use also watercolors if You put Your easel in the right place ....;):oLOL
