I don't know if I posted this last night I was full of mind altering drugs so if it's a double post, sorry. It worked out surprisingly good. Maybe the drugs loosened me up. Anyway, she\s expecting a baby in February.
PS: I cheated a little by using a tracing image.

She looks great, as expression for sure, cannot say as for her likeness! The somehow impressionistic approach leave her portrait details not very defined, but our mind can fill in the gaps I guess. i hope You feel progressively better and better and make less and less in need of medical support to face remaining moments of ache and pain.

Very nice! I'm not sure a tracing image is "cheating" There's little difference from that to get main details and using a grid. Some.. but not much. Well done!

Tracing is not cheating. It is a tool. One that you used to very good advantage.

She is gorgeous. . . must favor her mother. . .:p joking. . . joking. . . Lets hope she got your heart. If she did she'll be the best mom ever.

But she is a beautiful woman, and you must be very excited to be a grandpa (again?) You said she was the youngest.

As to the painting. . . how does that song go?

"Your cheatin' art,
Will tell on yew. . . "

(Unless you spill the beans first as ya did.)

I think it looks great. Love the colors. The features are a little blurry, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes impressions leave a lot of room for the viewer to project into it the rest of the image, and thus means they're invested in it. Good grabber. You've given a hearty push in the direction of this being the image of a real beauty and so the viewer will likely go there with it as well.
I know I did, and would have even if you hadn't talked about her being your daughter and all.

Nice one, Grampa. . . (I'm there too and love it.)

She is beautiful, and you captured her beauty very well. Good luck to you both. Best wishes Jo x
