Uuummmm. . . so what did she say? Actually it looks like she had you pinned until you asked. . .

"I'm not letting you go until you ask me to marry you. I want to make sure now that you're in the midlife crisis range and painting all these lovely models. . . ask me or I'll call a copper. SAY IT ASK ME!!!!!!!!":rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :p

Very sweet, in actuality. Gotta love a romantic artist. Great things come from such inspiration. . .

Go man go!!!!!!

Terrific painting. Many happy years and paintings to both of you!

Mr gxhpainter, thank you for your comment and thanks for the well wishes , ya the painting to me reflects the first time. she asked me to marry her and I was a tad bit reluctant lol so thats what this painting actually reflects.

When I saw the picture I knew I had seen it before. So I made a search and found it at the adresse above. Who painted this original picture? I don't know, but it has been seen around the Net for some time. It is a good picture from an alley in Barcelona, but there are no people in it..?! Click the link down to see a high resolution picture.

Nothing ever really changes. . . Which is good if you picked the right partner. It's a really good painting with a fine, romantic sentiment. I'm holding onto that as what it was about. Glad I saw it.

Keep posting.

John, what a cool story. Wonderful. But the painting seems to have disappeared? I didn't see and image and the link in the post didn't work.

Hope all goes well with you.

Henry was busting Cartuneman's chops about not mentioning the photo he used as a reference background.

It seems that the green eyed monster is astir in Asgard.

The painting was perhaps too competent -- or maybe the sentiment too loving. Who knows.

So you may not get a chance to see it. It was removed by the artist.

But I definitely think we should keep chasing the good ones out of the forums. Brilliant notion.

I see. Thanks Akey. Sometimes the monster in us feels the need to eat. Let's hope the belly is full for awhile, and more gentle days are ahead.
