Thanks Mr. Ploos - they are often referred to as wild dogs - research has shown that they are not dogs but related to wolves and came to Australia about 5,000 years ago. In some States they are allowed as pets. Did you know that the longest fence in the world is the Dingo Fence at 5,500kms long. Built to keep dingoes out of the sheep and cattle grazing areas.

The painting - I didn't count the layers as I merge some as I go along. However, a base gloop layer, several hair layers, nose on another and the eye would have had about three layers, nearly forgot, two texture layers and background. Probably about 8-10 layers.

Nice job, great choice of background colour to compliment the coat of the Dingo.

The variety of textures in this painting is what drew my attention. Nicely done.
