Your painting have calming and healing properties, dear Pat. I feel so good here in Your scene! No heat, no noise, but the natural ones, no hurry or stress! Thank You!

Very serene painting, Pat, I can almost hear the birds and the splash of the wheel as the mill goes through it's job of making flour ...maybe? Nice work

Oh Pat, I love this so much. These are the types of scenes that make life (and my art life) worth it all. The calm feeling and the simple subject brought to life with so much care and skill. Someone could take a thousands photographs of a scene like this and it would never match up. Thank you for sharing such a lovely piece this morning,

D Akey

Been a very long time since I looked at this site. Not sure why I quit. These last two pieces of yours reminded me how much I missed being here. This plus the courtyard scene. These have stimulated me enough I think I'll start again. I am really rusty so will have to relearn any techniques I may have had. Thanks for posting these. They are an inspiration.
