Actually, I now thing there is not enough contrast in the painting so I did some 'tweaking' and I think it looks better now.

I can see both for their respective feels. The bottom one is more illustrative feeling in technique and color with more punch, if you're looking for punch. :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::):):):):):cool::coo l::cool::cool::cool:

June I like both, but your tweaking is more defined and very beautiful

both are beautiful June, the second one with more contrast reads better as an image ( punch ), but having the tonal values close as in the first one gives more of the ethereal and impression of a misty morning.... so both have their place... a beautiful work...

The second one is neater, very good for our eyes although the mist and the mystery is somehow gone ....
