Actually I know where they are stored. Documents/custom content/Tool presets/

HOWEVER...when i load a Toolbox AR tells me that it can't find certain brushes even though they are visible in the brush.

Are artbxes stored in the same folder as the custom content?

Macs I'm Using: 10.6.8 at home & 10.9.8 at work.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Mirfino
Yes the Toolboxes folder is in the same Custom Content folder.
I would note though that the .artbx files don't actually contain any tools "per se" but are something of a "shopping list" which tells AR what tools to look for and load.
If the actual tool preset being referenced by the .artbx file has been altered in some manner, if only slightly, it can be enough to break the tool's link with the .artbx file.
If a link is broken, working in ArtRage;
Delete the offending tool from the toolbox collection it is in.
Go to the appropriate tool preset group, locate the correct preset and add it back to the collection again in the normal manner.
Finally save the corrected toolbox with the same name over the broken one.

Ahh great! Many thanks - yes I may have made tweaks but didn't save them...I will change that.

Cheers & thanks once again.
