Fantastic. Love it on a hot summer day. I was just in Washington State and there actually was a bit snow on some of the higher mountains in the distance. Was told it was a whole lot less and in past years though. Also there was an ugly amount of clear cutting of the forests. Rather sickening.

So this painting for me has both the majesty of the landscape and it also generates some concern for Nature in me.

Be that as it may, that's just my personal digression and does not reflect badly on your beautiful painting. Well done! You're cooking with gas now, my friend. (You had to grow up in the USA with all the dopey slogans in advertising at the time (50s or 60s?). 'Now you're cooking with gas. . .' was one of them that my dad always said when he liked something I did. Sort of odd to say that about something cold, but there ya go. . .)

I'm sure that where i grow up they must have had something of similar expressions to encourage people,i never heard of some but then again... i was not quiet in the right environment;(.
But let me thank you dear sir for your kind words about this piece....thx.

Excellent and effective painting. You developped a good, original and personal style for what I would generally define as meditative paintings.

I really like to draw mountains, yours is much better than mine. Maybe I over work mine... its just so much fun and every time I start one I have trouble telling myself "it's done, stop already."

The curve really leads you into the painting and is a strong design element.
