a lovely technique shown here damasocl, the clarity of the eyes and the combination of the softly watercolor like background works well in this image. I have not taken up doing a person with this technique , as you say it is quite time consuming and quite difficult to pull off an image that works on all levels ( enough structure and detail, but some deliberate brush and creative color combinations )... well done on this one. :):):)

The face really 'glows' out of the soft watercolour surrounds. A very striking image.

It gives such a natural yet painterly approach to the portrait. I enjoyed it!

The greatest fun I have is sharing the program with my grandchildren and friends grandchildren. They all love working on my iPad. They have been doing it for several years now and love it. When Chloe was three she was using her finger to paint for the first time . She would paint a little and then look at her finger. It amazed her even then. She is six now and a pro! We make cards too and send them by email. They all feel the same way about it. They all have done a lot of other kinds of painting here. There is some advantage to a grandma who was a school art teacher!
