It really does look like the vase is in the niche.

Well done! You may now decorate Your house with many false views then and expand Your dwelling in other spaces, times and picturesque locations! Brava!

I wouldn't be surprised if Caesar was able to find one of June's belongings behind that vase with him pulling of one of the more amazing discoveries in the 21st century. .;)

This painting looks so authentic, as if I were walking down a Roman corridor the sheltered bit out of the sunlight but part of the courtyard. I don't know what that architectural arrangement is called. They have it at the Getty Museum, the one at the beach here in Southern California. They modeled it after a villa they uncovered in Pompeii lo those many years ago. And it would be some kind of back yard, let me tell you. But no scrimping on the ornamentation. And your piece here would fit right in. You should be quite pleased with the result, Pat.

Very 'antiquities'. Go Pat Go!!!!!!!!

very good Pat! There used to be a work like this on a building in Portland , Oregon and it is amazing how your perception
makes you believe the scene in in 3-d like yours....well done!.
