I think I see some tulips in there. Spring must be coming your way too.

So soft that they may also come from some Scottish castle ghost ... :o Absolutely exquisite fabric of painting dreams!

Basking my impressions on the way things are handled in this one (your artistic choices), I like pulling details out of a soft focus area of energy (whispers). . . especially when those hairs (?) imply leaning into someone's ear to say something soft and perhaps not totally articulate. It also hits on the feeling of "silly nothings".

Turquoise is a curious choice were it to be a romantic thing, or maybe I took the other fork in the Yellow Brick Road road when it was in fact heading to The Emerald City. So I like the choices you made to show that concept.

Feels gem-like too. And I can see connotations of secret treasure troves lining the path trying to lure the passer as they head on a quest for the Rose of their Heart's Desire. . . the distractions that stop their forward momentum to their goal. For me it's too lively and upbeat to be the Green Eyed Monster. But who knows.

I really like the way you have the sharper focused stuff with the lesser so. They seem all of a similar energy and thus fit together so well.

Nice job, Gary. :):):):):):cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::):):):):)

I like the layered look of the painting.. did you use layers? Or did you do it on one layer and get it to look like that? Interesting piece

Soft lovely colours, Gary thank you justjean I wanted a softer analogous color scheme.

Lovely colours and shapes - I too can see the tulips! :) ah yes, a simplified version to be sure made with a simple brush and then using the eraser the erase into a tulip shape.

Interesting piece ah yes I usually do lots of layers and play with blending modes , dropping them and then adding new layers.. I find it to be a very non destructive method but allows me to experiment with colors and textures building up the work in stages.
