I've always wondered, how far you could go with the glitter tool...

Wow Fraser.. I love this piece.. The "over simplicity" of the glitter tool along with the complexity of the edges make an interesting effect. My eyes keep coming back to the bench which is so well defined.. and then traveling all over the canvas to see what else I can see.

Brilliant style F-P! Very artsy. Something I haven't seen before, and that's always a treat to catch a new vision, and a new possible way of describing something.

I like the dazzling, sparkly look to it, or what photographers might call graininess. With painting, and with a certain degree of irregularity to it, it extends past an effect or trick.

Also there is that early morning, moisture in the air kind of time, that has a bit of natural graininess in the air that this reminds me of. And I'm not so sure that a straight photograph would've done the trick as effectively. This one creates associations in my mind which I quite like Of a solitary walk with the dog, sort of meditative, those times where one can carry on a conversation with that which has a completely different language.

Hope the walk was fun. I'm quite sure your canine friend there is having a ball (see picture 2 in this series of yours for the pun to splash in your lower gastric reaches).
