I have been posting this collage since 2004 in honour of our Vets.

The image is of Canadian Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD who wrote the poem " In Flanders Fields" in 1915 and I donated the poppies :)84167

Nice thought and card!
For us, who were on the other Eastern front against the Austrian army, the first WW end occurred and is instead celebrated November the 4th, which is also our Armed Forces Day.

There are something that we should never forget! Service and Sacrifice are two of them. Thanks for posting this Marilyn Anne.

... maybe we should remember all the young people dead in wars to defend their homelands, wherevere they're from, and that we should also avoid wars whenever possible e certainly those for prevailing or for economical or geopolitical control interests ... service and sacrifice aren't cheap and cannot be wasted for wrong purposes.
God bless them all from any country and show merciful to them and us.
