I've been enjoying Enug's sheep and lambs, and thought I had better prove I can do sheep without hats and glasses. An old one with a new sky and some fettling.

I sense that cold, bleak weather of Scotland and those beautiful, thick wool sheep roaming around before the snow sets in.
Awesome painting with lots of drama in that sky.

Beautiful, such lovely colours and something kind of 3D about it.

Ah, thank you - lovely to see your sheep again - you really are the master of painting sheep. I love the setting with the threatening skies.

Here's a pic of my Suffolk in a dusty paddock.

I didn't know that in Suffolk You ride sheep too!:eek:LOL:o;) Our sheep have a white head and legs instead than black as, in Your case ... but that's not because our shepherds are racist .... :o

Yeah, you obviously had a latent itch to become a jockey, but I can see there were problems with the relative scale between yourself and your thoroughbred mount. Dragging your Wellies slows you down a wee bit much for competition at the County Fair. Still it's fine for a saunter around the paddock. All you have to do is reach around the beast and raise it up off the ground and do a quick walkabout. Very Aussie. Hard on the back though, I should think.

Cute image. What kind of snakes did you have nipping at your ankles? Did any strike at you? Did you always wear rubber boots? Probably handy in a thunder storm too.

Cute pic. :cool::cool::):):D:D:D:D:D

Nice pic, F-P! You been doing any more? Or are you all about photography these days?
