I admire the glass works of Dale Chihuly and decided to play around in Artrage and Phonto to see what might happen if Chihuly played with these things. A departure for me for sure but it was interesting to do. Chihuly's stuff is a lot prettier!

Marilyn Anne, I love his work as well and I have had the pleasure of going to a couple of shows. The glassworks are amazing. I like your exploration here, great color and design, yet still retains a look that belongs to you. very well done :cool::):)

I was hoping you might think my little experiment interesting. I got to see one of his shows in Rochester, NY. Just spectacular !

kaleidoscopic beauty! I was glad to know of such an archtect and artist and of his work inspiring Your divertissement. As I suspected looking at his glass artpieces, he worked also in the famous Murano island of Venezia (Venice) where, quite evidently, he learned perfectly that art and the relevant techniques most proficiently.

Colorful. There was a series of stained glass windows from church that I remember as a kid that had a circle motif. It was so different from the kinds with pictorial windows it had me puzzled. I did not know anything at the time about the aesthetics of the late 50s which seemed to dominate architectural decoration from that period, where things were streamlined and somewhat deco.

There was a TV special about him and his studio. Fascinating. Walking through his work is a wonderland.

Marylin Anne, I like this joyous playful piece :) It is very pretty and dynamic in its own 2-D way -- and I don't mean 'flat'!

Enjoying your use of colors and shapes. It's very much in the style of Chihuly's.

And thank you for introducing me to Dale Chihuly's work. Wow. His work is sooo organic and colorful (and what a scale!), and it resonates a lot with some imageries in my mindscape, which I try to translate onto canvas with ArtRage.

His work in gardens and glass houses is mind boggling. The creative shows he has put on are amazing. I am so glad that I have had the opportunity to see his work in person.

I love to see experiments using AR - lovely colours put together in a way that works. Reminds me of something I saw on TV the other night - coloured wine/water bottles set into walls resembling large stained glass windows.
