The most famous of the characters masks (and attires) of Sardinia traditionally used for feasts since centuries. Simmetry and mouse only.

Yeah, I would think that the hosts throwing the orgy would have to just turn that frown upside down. The mind boggles. . .

Isn't symmetry fun to play with?

Your mask painting is excellent. Lots of good shading and blending.

Thank You, dear Rom. My mouse is a tamed one now ... LOL;)

Are looking for a special diet, dear ATPlus? LOL:o Thank You!

Dear D Akey, a pity we stopped the dionisiac feasts though quite a long time ago ...LOL:p;) Thank You!

Right, dear Steve. I see You're informad on almost everything!:cool:;) In summer it's a real sauna for them with a heavy bells load, the mask and the attire including wooly sheep skins. Thank You!

Thank You, dear Koalablue! Actually Artrage simmetry feature is quite useful to speed up the work and kee precision, although it would be usually better to break an excessive simmentry which may result unnatural.

This comes from having met a guy who makes souvenirs in Sardinia by working the clay and manufactring, among other, masks of any color and size from the various local Sardinian ancient tradition. Sardinia is also famous for an outstanding ancient civilization and culture (starting from about 1800 B.C.) who built round towers made with big stones, the nuraghe (pl. nuraghi). Here's an example and not even the most prominent one.
