I don't know how you can possibly paint glasses of wine when they would seem to keep evaporating at an unnatural rate. . . Good thing you have a whole cask just to keep your fluids up. Must keep hydrated in the summer after all, eh by gum, lad.

If you have the lettering on a separate layer you may want to add a wee bit of perspective to it to where it's vanishing to the left. Don't need to do much and get overly analytical. But just pinching the parallel to the left a smidge ought to do it.

Oh, and I think evaporation got to my wine and I could do with a top off. . . thank you very much.

Wonderful, woody and rich in an old world way brought contemporary with the contrast between the cask and the style of wine glass. Very nice, Rick.

Thanks D.. I need to work on the glass highlight a bit more.. That will be a good time to look at the perspective..

Nice to see another wonderful painting of Yours, dear Rick! You're citing the red wine of my birth region, Abruzzo, which is not the Montepulciano of Tuscany, even if the name is the same, but rather that of an aboriginal species of vine with that name from those places which is not the Sangiovese vine used in Tuscany for their Montepulciano, the Brunello and many other wines over there.
