Killed my tablet pen

Hi guys.
I've killed my tablet pen it seems.
I think the problem might be that it got dropped into a cup of tea... I have a small kid at home ;)

Do you know of anything I can do to save it? I would like to take it apart, but don't know how. I can remove the tip, but don't know if I should be.
It's a wacom bamboo fun pen.
The other option is to buy a new one, but 309DKK (55,49USD) seams a bit much for a new pen IMO. Unless there's anywhere cheaper I can get a pen? It has to be inside EU though, because of our tax rules.

I can't say I have much experience with the mechanical working of the stylus' for tablets, but I did have to reassemble my old Graphire stylus in the past, after having dropped it. Luckily, I only needed to realign everything, because when it hit the ground it landed directly tip down, so that everything got crushed into it. In your case, it will probably be a matter of cleaning off any sticky areas of tea. I really don't have much knowledge about how to do that, however. I would recommend going to YouTube and doing a search for videos on how to disassemble your wacom pen (Two examples, for two different pen types: Link 1 (http://youtu.be/H6J7vq_kqpc) - Link 2 (http://youtu.be/iH5bmc0IdIE)). If you end up needing to use water to clean the chip set inside, be sure to let the pen sit and dry for a couple of days (under a fan, if possible), because if there's even a drop left, it could cause the pen to go haywire on you. You might even want to do what they suggest for people who've dropped their phones into water do, and put the pen into a bin of rice, to dry it out.

Though again, these are only suggestions. I'm not an expert in any of this.
