82363 Is it permitted to ask if there is an estimate as to when this will happen without endangering my life?

For me "soon" means within, minutes or maybe, within a day or two. Not weeks or months. But everything is relative to expectations...so even a year can be "soon" I guess. Anyway. I can do nothing but wait. Sooner or later "soon" will come, and then it is welcome.

Very soon, unless they have an unforeseen problem.

And as I enjoy getting the last word... Yes, we're still on for the 11th. Barring Tycho getting into the code and eating something important, or the entire New Zealand internet service going down, 4.5 will be out next week.

I'm carefully not commenting on that bit. The internet is a matter of public record, after all.

Women getting the last word..... That opens SO many possibilities, but I won't go there.

Yes, industrial secrets and all that stuff.

Wise choice. I entirely lose my sense of humour when it comes to gendered insults (in both directions).

Yes, industrial secrets and all that stuff.

It's definitely NOT catnip.

I expect quite a few people here will remember December 14, 2009, anticipating the release of ArtRage 3. There was genuine excitement. Everyone checking in from different time zones to see if it was available yet. I think for a while, that day/night held the record for the most people logged into the forum.

Now of course it's a few years on and we are all more computer savvy and sophisticated ;), but I am personally beginning to feel some of that excitement building again for the 11th. I think becoming a 64bit application is pretty significant. I'm only a dabbler/doodler as such, but even after all these years, I still sense the potential the ArtRage toolbox offers every time I open the program.

All the best to the team for final testing and a smooth launch, and try and keep Tycho's paws confined only to the layers panel!

Only a few days now - let the countdown begin...

I can't stand gender bashing either, I get downright militant when I see or hear it. Even if it's put in the form of a joke it's still a put down. My wife is the same way. Ultimately someone gets hurt, whether they admit or not.
