Funny, the orchids are blossoming for two days in my back yard and here is another bloomin' painting of one from down under. Um. . . let me say that a different way. Nice bloomers! No, wait. . . How about, this is a lovely painting of some bloomin' orchids. I can even hear it spoken with an Aussie accent. Oh well. . . You get that they look great.

This painting is lovely. I like the colors you washed in as a background. As you did it, it adds some gentle zest. It stays out of the way, but accentuates the colors of the flowers. So straight watercolor without the line, eh? Nice. :cool::cool::cool:

BTW, I hadn't mentioned it before but I really like you signature. It implies fine attention to craftsmanship with flair.
