To better greet SCP coming back, I thought I would quickly sketch a strange fantasy creature too. Maybe painting it would follow ...

Wonderful sketch Caesar, really like it a lot, great work, your drawings are always done so well

I half expect to see this as a concept sketch for something coming out of Mordor one of Sauron's allies. Now we have to load this mobile unit with a bunch of warriors on platforms with weapons with the legions wearing lots of guy liner and mascara.

I want to pet him...hope he doesn't bite! :)

Nice one Caesar !! :D Thankyou for the creature greetings ! Looking forward to your painting.:cool:

Thank You, dear Jean! Probably it's just the way I feel sometimes due to my aging and about 6 kg overweight ... LOL:o;)

Yeah, dear ATPlus the Old! His mom was always undecided on which boy-friend to date, so ... LOL :o;) Thank You!

You're too kind, dear Pat! It's little more than a rough sketch for fun. Thank you!

Right, dear D Akey. Actually it's one of Sauron's most effective weapons. During an attack it slowly moves in apparently harmless with just his imposing size and thick skin as a defence from arrows and swords, but You enventually discover it's a lethal chemical-biological weapon releasing nerve gas and deadly bacteria from his nose and rear orifices ... LOL:o;):D Thank You!

Thank You, dear Scribbledsoul. Don't worry, he's not aggressive, he just licks honey from the honeycomb on the trees (that's why he's protected by such a thin skin and hard hair).

Thank You, dear SCP. I'll see what I can do, as shameful as I would feel to complete my modest Rhynofant in front of Your gorgeous creatures.

Ha ha you're unstoppable Dear Caesar, it could easily fit in any Star Wars movie

04-05-2014, 09:23 AM
Such a sad face. Poor weird little fella!

Caesar
04-05-2014, 10:31 PM
He could easily fit any place larger than 60 square meters I think, dear Andrea! ;) Thank You

Yeah, dear Robyn, he certainly move compassion, poor bashful oversize pet! :o:D Thank You!

Cesare, one more reply, Great work, a really creative and cute creature!

silvy
04-06-2014, 02:36 AM
Very cute but a little sad ....makes tenderness;)

Caesar
04-06-2014, 06:53 AM
I may provide You a silhouette of this pet, dear Sandra, but I wouldn't put it on Your garden flowers .... LOL:o;)

I was sure You were a most gentle and kind-hearted girl, dear Silvia! Thank You!

Caesar....don't know how I missed your pachydermy thingy....he's looking a bit confused of what he may be
and hoping he the missing link in the pachyderm world.....
Fun picture, love it!
Take care friend,
Steve

Caesar
04-06-2014, 08:38 AM
Thank You, dear Steve! Among ungulates it may possibly represent what dodo was among birds, a self protecting, harmless and shy creature prone to extinction in a too competitive and aggressive environment.

Caesar

Here's a new one. One leg position isn't correctly corresponding to the somehow hopping dynamics I figured out, but I left it as it was. Hope You like it as well ... This animal may well be from Pandora, can't it?

pai
04-08-2014, 09:54 AM
Haha.....the last one you did, the "face" and that "smile" of that "creature" ..... I also like the sad elephant sketch. You're so good at these :D

Caesar
04-08-2014, 06:49 PM
Hop, hop here it go the hoggie-doggie, dear Pai! Throw a stick and see if it fetches it! I hate to say that (it doesn't know, shhh), but this animal is also quite productive for getting tasty hams!:eek:LOL:o;)

I would also resume herebelow a previous sketchy product of my recent bestiary ...

vandra
04-08-2014, 08:00 PM
I love him! He's very cute but I do agree - he does look very sad. :-)

Alexandra
04-08-2014, 09:59 PM
Haha, these are cute additions, Cesare!
And...I do apologize for turning your pretty lady into a bumblebee. I do have another version, but it would
it is really silly. I don't know if I will upload it or not.:o

Caesar
04-08-2014, 10:07 PM
Thank You, dear Vandra! You probably refer to the first one, but You may have missed the final couple. The first of them is a quite happy chap indeed!

No apologies for Your magnificent artpieces, dear Sandra and don't worry to get silly paintings ... as you see, I'm prince of silly paintings and a real court jester so, pls, let us enjoy Your crazy idea too! Thank You.

'Hoggie-doggie'....Love this one, looks to have a great personality and eager to please, the last one looks as if he could care less about pleasing...staying off his turf..for sure!
Fun creatures....take care friend,

Another of your great drawings of the animals, Caesar, and the last one would fit well with the Lion King ;)

Caesar
04-09-2014, 09:42 PM
Right, dear D Akey, especially with the last unemotional predator I'd say.;)

That was possibly an inspiration, as for the happy and carefree attitude and the hooves it may well resemble Pumba, dear Andrea, but there's also a mastiff puppy-dog component and the complex locomotor anatomy of an insect engaging its mind ... Thank you!

Dear Steve, I see You really have an insightful natural introspective capability with weird creature psychology. bravo! But I wouldn't quietly pose inquisitive questions to them lynog on a sofa next to me ... LOL;):o Thank You!

Thank you, dear Jean! Actually the last one, provided by Andrea, did fit Lion King ... LOL:o:D;)

Alexandra
04-10-2014, 10:50 PM
Now how would I ever place a creature of yours in a garden....well then again...the wheels turn and I see trolls mixed in with this amazing motley crew of yours. Always well done, love these, Cesare!

SilverO
04-10-2014, 11:57 PM
I really like them, especially the second one.:)

Caesar
04-11-2014, 12:30 AM
Indeed, dear Amanda, indeed. Only a little less fun than doing girls .... LOL;) Thank You!

Looking forward to see Your new forthcoming mixed garden the, dear Sandra! ;) Thank you!

Thank You, dear SilverO. The hoggie-doggie? You may have it, but be warned that it would cost You a fortune with the dentist! :eek:LOL:o:D

Caesar

I hope this kind of strange experimenta outcome has an acceptable look ... before I go on this way, what do you think?

04-12-2014, 03:56 AM
Caesar, I like these fantastical creatures, what a creative mind behind them!... I am most impressed with the skill, coloration, and overall character each one has, from fierce and dangerous, to outlandish and shy... quite a fertile area for you to explore as your natural painting and drawing talent gives each its unique characterizations.. fun and extremely well done !..:cool::cool::cool:

SilverO
04-13-2014, 03:42 AM
Looks really good, I like them.:)

Caesar
04-15-2014, 01:09 AM
Thank You, dear Gary! Most probably I should have rested since the first day should I have been in charge of the Creation ... , but fortunately our Allmighty Father took care of such a tremendous task .... LOL:o:D I'm kidding. Thank you!

That's the same thought I had, dear Andrea, when setting up the background. Reminded of Ice Age movie. I'm stunned and admire very much what prehistoric men (and often women apparently from the size of the handprints) were able to draw and paint in the caves! Thank You!

Thank you, dear Jean. I will although I have also a couple of quite ambitious ideas with different subject, one of which already sketched as a composition. Thank You!

Then, might I ever leave the wish of two girls unsatisfied, dear Sandra? Thank You!

Probably You would like to see also some form of mutant jellyfish, dear SilverO ... LOL;) Thank You!

You're welcome Dear Caesar, I fully agree with you, prehistoric art is amazing, we painted from the beginning of our journey and we still do it today  Scaiu

Caesar
04-15-2014, 07:16 PM
Thank You, dear Amanda! You're right to keep out. They're not all easy to tame and You'd be a juicy meal for at least one (maybe two) of these animals ... LOL:o:D Thank You!

Thank you, dear Andrea! The synthesis (like in comics) of some animals specific features and the marvellous earth colors and coal lines in some prehistoric caves are a real wonder considering they are one and even two dozen thousand years old!

Alexandra
04-15-2014, 10:04 PM
Great work, Cesare. I am glad that the little monkey man is able to walk away, haha.

Caesar
04-16-2014, 01:01 AM
Eh, eh, dear Sandra, You're quite right. The little guy looks like the UN Secretary when the issue get big, such as, for instance, in these days, the Ukranian crisis. The policy is quite simple, keep a low profile, babble something which sounds right and elegantly walk away from the disputing members of the Security Council who would reciprocally veto any adverse solution ... LOL:o;) Thank You!

Isn't that the shaman wise guy? He's clearly thinking his incantation did not quite yield the results he was hoping for. Here he was reaching for the viagra and obviously got it mixed up with the curry powder. . . and it scared his date clean into the next cartoon. Shamanic note to self: Organize your spice rack.

04-16-2014, 11:41 AM
Haha..Caesar, you're really in a roll recently with different style, subjects, and different time frame of your illustration. From modern to stone ages...I think :p (and somehow little politically humor too) Fun to see your creative mind ! Woot ! keep coming ! :D

Caesar
04-17-2014, 01:11 AM
They would, dear Jean, but they would cost a fortune to fee, hopefully not with my limbs ....LOL ;) Thank You!

LOL:o;) Thank You for the fun, dear D Akey! Actually the wrong spices may not only fail to luff the mast, but also to adversely affect the outlet ... LOL:o;)

Right, dear SCP ... with Your permission: Monsters and Co. ...Thank You!

Thank you, dear Pai! Many different outcomes, but they all share the fast and relaxed approach for enjoying this creative activity and wondeful software ...

Hahhah, light to you Caesar. See you're going trough prehistoric period too.... I guess it has something to do with spring :-). love the funny Pithe-Can-Thrope character. Some candlights next to the monitor would give a nice cave-ish feeling
I'll sign to it... in style :-)

Glad You subscribed it quite personally in a prehistoric way, dear Orkhan. I'll try to have a candlelight look to this cave graffiti, as You suggest, and I would expect animals' eyes to glow in the darkness ...;) Thank You!

A mermaid or a selkie or anything alike, dear D Akey, but females are always a little vain and like to be flattered, aren't they? Thank You and congrats for Your Italian. Were Your Latin and Spanish studies helpful? ;):o Anyway fell free to use English or what You like for Your exceptional comments, spechees and puns. They're so interesting and useful to me that I'd try to follow them in any language ...
