Hi to everyone. I am new to ArtRage and so for I am loving it. I was using Corel Painter, awesome software but a learning curve like Photoshop. I have just begun to delve into what ArtRage can do. I am artistic, but not an artist, yet! Hope to have something worth looking at soon.

My screen name is "Lashlroo". I made a small spelling error. Can I change it?

Welcome.

As to the name, send a private message to one of the Rage team. HannahRage or DaveRage or even AndyRage. . .probably in that order.

Old time cowboy name, does that mean you're an old timer?

I wouldn't refer to myself as an OldTimer. At 57 I've been around the block a few times, still lots of tread on the tires.

Hi and welcomes. Makes me wonder what the ages are for the members. I'm 55. Or as I like to say "a 55 year old in a 90 year old body with an 18 year old mind" LOL.

At 60 I can get senior discounts at the restaurants. But I get carded in disbelief. There's only the slightest few white hairs in my beard. My youthful countenance later in life is poetic justice for having suffered the indignity of a baby face for decades I suppose. The beard helped. But since I'm not turning gray when they challenge me about my age, all I have to do is smile and 1001 lines appear and they go "Aha!" and they soften like grandchildren and apologetically grant me the discount.

As to arrested development, yeah, I am about 19 at heart. I never quite got the knack for embodying the dignity of age. Probably the endless wonder in being an artist and a strong distaste for the curmudgeonly has kept me young.

36, mentally feel like 17... knees are probably 40-50ish... An elder once told me that the harder you play in your youth, the more you pay as you get older. She was right!

Does anyone else get the feeling that the Rage forum supervisors and such are amazing people?
Most of the one's I've ever seen on other sites are quick, to the point, and extremely boring. (And scary!)

You guys are SO cool! You actually have a personality.
I feel so welcomed here!

Thank you HannahRage, DaveRage, and AndyRage ;)
