Great likeness for a first go (actually, it's a good likeness for a 70th go - likenesses are hard). :)

You asked for advice, and all I could really share is this; It is a wonderful picture, but if it has a 'flaw' it's that it reads a little flat - There's nothing wrong with that if it's the style you're going for (and many do, with excellent results), but if you wanted it to feel a little more dimensional you could try blocking out the bigger shapes and shades and shadows before going in to add detail and blending and such. This can help with getting the shapes and forms of the figure before worrying about things such as the eyes. That siad, I don't follow this advice half the time myself, so what do I know? :)
