One of my nieces just got engaged and it dawned on me yesterday that a digital pencil sketch of the two of them would make a nice Christmas present. I used a recent picture and traced it to get the outlines. The whole thing was done in ArtRage. When I print it I duplicate the layer and have one at about 50% Opacity, with just one layer it looks a little light.

I used the pencil, air brush, chalk, pallet knife, eraser, sticker sprayer hair brush.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Say that's a pretty cool drawing, Aunt Betsy! They'll love it, even if there are no lanyards or doilies. Always best to favor the likeness in portraiture over super cool effects. And you've done a particularly nice couple head drawings here. Handsome couple.

Many thanks to Niloc, Robyn, Neal, HarlequiNQB, Caesar, coops, Marilyn Anne, D Akey, and Jean.

I just gave the picture to my niece and her fiance on Saturday and they loved it. I haven't given any artwork for Christmas that didn't involve Zazzle for decades.

Thanks again to all that commented.

Happy New Year's.
