This is one of my first Artrage pieces. It was done almost entirely with a palette knife. August 6, 1945 is the day the Atom Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. The pink cherry petals are joined with pink tears to signify the sadness of the day, and are pooling at the foot of the ghost tree. There is no political significance. I just thought it was an interesting concept.

Moving and masterful artpieces. Meaningful as they seem to show that time itself was frozen by such a first occurring destructive atomic trespass, such immensely tragic deed ...
