View Full Version : Large Canvas

Hi all,

Here is a link to my canvas texture. Have patience as it is a bit large. Just pop it into your image as a grain and try painting on it with the oil brush. I have had hours of fun painting on this substrate. Hope you do too.

Update! Try the new (as of December 2012) link above.

I have tried every grain and canvas that has been posted on this forum, and this was actually the first one that gave me a jolt of analog (oil on canvas) nostalgia! Did you make this? It's perfect.

Thanks so much,

Hi Graham,

Check that you're displaying "All Files" when you look in the Grains folder.
It could be that only jpgs are being selected.

If that doesn't ,make it appear, get back to us.

Hey Cripster- Sorry for the trouble using the grain. Not sure what's up. Let me know what happens when you get home. Perhaps post a picture of what it looks like?

One thought about that, Cripster. The canvas will look a little different if you have the roughness toggled to negative in the paper settings. The button next to the roughness dial should probably be set to + for this.

Thanks Fashmir that grain. I make quick test and it seems work fine. Well done.
