I got interested in this thread by Gms9810 : Pencil Shading (http://forums.artrage.com/showthread.php?45192-Pencil-Shading)

How many shadings can I make in ArtRage using the same motif. So I made myself a simple cylinder from a piece of paper and used my camera to document it.

Next was my first sketch on paper just to get a grip of the motif, standing on the desktop in front of me. The ArtRage drawing is not a clone, it is ArtRage freehand from the reference graphite drawing.

I will try out some shadings with some different Tools to se what I can come up with. Just for fun and exercise..:D

I agree. Very cool project idea. Pushes the mind and invention. It's a good pivotal point to explore a lot of ideas for making marks.

Is that 'giving us the finger' Henry? :)

The wooden one is excellent.

This finger is upside down and therefore means the opposite to the traditional "giving the finger", and the wooden looks more alive I think. Thank you!
