A couple of new landscapes. The first is where I walk my dog each morn. Started plein air, then finished in studio. One layer. Oils. AR4.
The second, a painting challenge from WetCanvas. Never tried to do the ice/frost/snow in this way before. Very difficult. 7 layers, merged & blended at ea. added layer. Oils. AR4. Both appx 3000x36000 pxls at 300 ppi.

Placid and raging, art speaking that is. Interesting contrast in your choice of subject. Wonderful walking no doubt.

Love the touch of flowers in the landscape. How lovely to walk your dog in such a setting!

Love the water/grass and trees with the ivy in the back on the first one. Great stuff. I think I'd like to see you do something with denser vegetation :]

I really like the first one, very nicely done.
There is something that puzzles me in that the footpath appears to stop at the edge of the stream, are there stepping stones to get across the stream ?

I also favorite the first one. Beautiful painting.
