I saw a painting by Whistler and just loved the colours so gave it a try and put my own spin on it. Hope you enjoy this one even though its not firework night lol:)

Woah! Your fireworks got Mr Ploos tumblin' arse over cornflakes -- when 'e went to kick the cat, 'e moosta missed, oh aye. . .

Well, I believe James McNeill Whistler could have kicked the cat over this one. It's gorgeous! A wonderful moment. I really love the color control, which makes the warms stand out feeling luminous. . . or flakey. . . or corny. . . or kicky. . .

Anyway, your brushwork as always is extraordinary -- what you get out of pushing paint around as you do getting a cross between description and atmosphere is really cool. Well done indeed Ms Coops!

the fireworks seem to me is the end of it over the dark green, could be meaning to me the ending of a joyful moment in life, then back to that quiet , calm moment. i really like this one. :)
