It seems so calm and peaceful except for the crumpled paper. You painted all these objects so well.

Dear Jean, What a beautiful painting. I wish I could paint beautiful things like this when I am frustrated instead of painting the outside of my house!:p

That expressively discarded ball of paper says it all but hope of
a new creation reigns supreme because that sharpened pencil
obviously has a feisty, ready to go attitude. ;) :D

Very well done! Sometimes the simple things can be the most complicated:)

I can relate your frustration sometimes in painting. However, your beautiful painting shows you love to do it too. Love this piece of yours so much. Just few simplicity objects and they tell so much and like the canvas chosen with the palette and brush works. It works perfect all together. Fine work to me even you're little frustrated but that seems to give you more energy to create best work :) :)

Ah. . . you missed the waste bin, Jean. . . I've had days where me writing looked like that. Nice painting. Tells it all. . . or enough of it at least.

Exciting like a coffee, scrunched up for the wasterpaper basket or sharp like a pencil tip?:confused:LOL:o;) A fantastic still life anyway!
