I had to delete this post and redo it as the image loaded twice, when I touched up my pic and reloaded.

Sorry to NatureWorks who kindly posted about it! :D

Try again.

This is lovely Robyn, great skin tones and the painting has a delicate quality to it.

I love that pose of her. I painted it in acrylics and watched her come to life as I'm sure you did also. Great art!!

It's always a pleasure to re-visit such most beautiful and unlucky lady ... You painted her magnificently.

Delightful expression - sort of enthusiasm mixed with wonder. No question of why she was a star if she could speak thus with her expressions. Good background starting out as a pin-up model where they had to tell a whole story in one pic.

You captured it really well, Copespeak!

Thanks Operated, and Mr Akey. Yes, I sort of started out thinking she's just another pretty blonde, but there is certainly a definite charisma about her. Too much fame didn't help, of course, and the president, etc, and so down she crashed.

It's far from a perfect likeness, but I really enjoyed having a go. :)

I love how you painted her beauty in your own way. Love that expression and your background too. :)

Beautiful work Robyn. She was such an icon.

excellent Marilyn.. I dont think she is at all easy to draw as there are so many reference pictures of her showing different hair styles etc, with and without make up,it is difficult to decide which to use that people will recognise..
