View Full Version : Yay.. I actually took my time to print my artwork!

I'm not sure if this is the right sub-page of the forum, to post this ... but..

I just got home from work, and took these pictures on my livingroom floor, about five minutes ago.
(yeah, my brown rug sucks... looks like something out of the 70'ies - actually, it properly IS)

I just happened to get some spare time at work today. And I actually got my head together, and remembered to print out my some of sketchings and work for the last month or so, to stick on the walls and in my physical portfolio. I try and do this on a monthly basis, but often forget.
I work as a graphic-designer in a full scale printshop, but never seem to get time to print my own stuff out... figures!

So this is just regular A3 and A4 images, made to fit in at somewhere around 300-400 DPI on the paper. I made it on some nice 180g. glossy photo-paper.
I also have a few prints, printed and mounted on canvas (two of them is over 1 meter in with .. and still looks awesome) .. but they need to dry up, but I'll try and take some photographs of em', and share them, when I get back to the office on monday :)

The only thing about working in ArtRage, and printing the stuff out .. is that you have to keep in mind, not to use unprintable coloring.. so.. please ArtRage Team .. once you have time, please make a CMYK-color option :P

Looks amazing! How terrific to have access to a good printer that's all set up. My good one is tucked away under a cloth under a desk, and needs to be got out, dusted off and connected up.

I did some of mine yesterday, and it feels really good to hold them in your hands and show others.

I only wish my mobil phone had that good of quality... heck I wish that my actual camera had that good of quality.

I'm hoping Santa will be bringing me a shiny new camera... with lots of pieces and buttons that do good things.

This is a great collage, showing off your great talent. Truly a good shot.

Thanks guys :)

Yeah, It's a little neat to have access to great printers... I have access to pretty much anything from great laser-printers and poster-printers, to T-shirt production and scaffold-banners.
Sure it still cost me money to do the more exotic stuff, and I often have little to no time to get my own stuff "squeezed in" ... but when I do, it feels great to hold the finished product afterwards :D
