I really like this comical piece.

Thank You, dear Pai! Actually I wouldn't cite a famous opera to recall a clown (I Pagliacci by Leoncavallo), but I'm citing the ancient Italian Commedia dell'Arte here and one of its characters to add this little tribute to a certainly most talented artist.

It looks like I didn't need to tell who this character looks like, dear Sandra. I'm glad I got enough likeness from that tiny avatar then. Thank You!

Actually it's evidently not me, dear Copespeak. LOL:D Thank You!

Not Marge Simpson this time, dear Geoff. LOL:D Thank You!

Thank You, dear Jibes! Let's add some colors to these economically depressing times ...

Actually, in a way, I was already back, peeping to the constant artpieces flow in here, dear D Akey. Thank You!;)

Thank You, dear Tana! BTW I like Your Pompeian looking Avatar!:)

Glad You like it, dear SCP, although she's all but a monster I'd say ...LOL;) Thank You!

Dear Jean, actually the costume is not my creation,:o is Arlecchino's one (Arlequin), one of our masked characters playing in the ancient and once renowned all over Commedia dell'Arte. Thank You!

Thank You, dear Byron! Since You left Your bright colors out of Your canvases in some recent cases, I borrowed them for a while to assemble this illustration.:)

Dear Anna, actually I tried to draw Sadclown from her Avatar, so the idea to have got her well done, like a steak, makes me chuckle a little ...:o;) I'm just kidding. Thank You!

But I think (and at first sight...) Whom you had in mind when creating this fun piece....
