Hi all we have a tv ad here that shows a person doing art with there hands, i was wondering if there was a way with AR to do the same sort of thing, i tried the gltter but it just didn't look right.

I hope some one can help me here with some ideas.

Sand painting is moving the materia, creating shadows, against the light that comes from beneath the surface. So what you want is the posibility of "tilling" the paint, revealing a lighter underlayer, right?
The same principle applies to dust painting (on very dirty car windows), except that here the materia is lighter, against the darker window

How about putting your paint on very thick via a fat strip of the paint tube, then transform and stretch it all the way across to fill the screen? Then get your eraser and choose the pressure and erase back. If you go all the way in, do a layer beneath of the same colour. Hmm... I'll have to have a play! :)

Edit: Here is my quick version. I used plain coloured sprinkles to make it sand like.

Copespeak, I always marvel at the way you rise to the challenge of producing effects. I do believe you relish such puzzles!

And some the same with dustpainting... not so thick tube, knifed flat and then added some more, lighter and darker with biiig airbrush but with metallic colour this time... a darker layer beneath, and eraser as "finger"

Thanks Lin, I do believe I am an inventor by heart. I know in my twenties and onwards my dad used to ask me to come out and help solve his small building/creating problems in his shed hoping I might come up with something.

My partner now does the same thing, saying, "I just want to run this by you....."

I am hoping it will stop the onset of Alzheimers!

Not mechanically minded, but I'll have a go! All we need is a turbo charger, some jet fuel.......

Leave it with me! :D :D :D
Edit: Wet Concrete! This is fun!
