This is the result of playing with colours and layers. For me it symbolizes energy, life, movement. I called it "fire being". I am a bit afraid of submitting it because the artwork I see here is so beautiful...

Ulla do not be affraid, here are differently skilled people but one thing connects them: the fun of creation. And each one of us can be a source of inspiration for others, it is not up to us to decide. Each creation is just a humble offering for a higher creation. Enjoy!

I like it ,

for me it looks like a witch on fire but not in the bad sense , fire magic .

Never be afraid of posting your art we all had to start somewhere. This is a very vibrant painting, well done:)

I really like the boldness of it, the strong colours against the dark background works really well.

Thank you, kenmo, Geoff and coops! Your encouraging comments are very much appreciated! One question, though: I'd like to use that painting for a postcard, but up to now the setting is on 72 dpi. Am I right that I can change that by clicking on print size but have to make sure that I also enlarge the number of pixels?
