This is a sample to show my latest work on my ipad
the first is of corse with artrage, the second applying an autopainter effect, and the last one
retouched with art set (a very good app).

Love the character and it looks like you've got a handle on the effects from the other apps! So much fun to experiment! L

I'm afraid that I liked the first one too well that the second ones with the effects sort of obliterate the cleverness of the line work.

Certainly it is an interesting effect and doubtless it would work for other kinds of images. But I happen to think those lines you made were perfect in the first one.

I also admire crisp clean lines that really capture the essence of a likeness as with a caricaturist like a sophisticated Hirschfeld. In the latter two painterly, batik kind of bleeding dye treatments on loose weave canvas, it doesn't really translate and perhaps is suited better for a more tonal technique more so than for manipulating a line? I don't know for sure. But that's my impression from this one experiment.

I think that original line drawing is really brilliant.

I like the straight line version and the canvas effects as well.

I like all three for the different results but the first one is just masterful :D

Thanks for your coments. I also think the artrage first work looks more fresh, and of corse , i enjoy more drawing it because is when i create the character. With the final effects i look for a diferent view of my work like i paint it on a real canvas.
There are a few more where you can see this.

You're an awful master at drawing people in such an essential and elegant synthesis and also the effects You applied produced further credible versions of style and tasty textures to enrich the colored areas with subtle nuances.
You have all my admiration!
