Christine, I was so excited to see you post the final of this as I was watching with great interest in the WIP section, this is really one of your finest efforts, you seem to have a great empathy for cats, the kitten you did was also very fine, but this one captures that intensity of feline gaze and the great work on the colors of his fur, extremely well done!..:):)

Thank you coops, gxhpainter, for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated.

They are very time consuming to do but I still enjoy doing them. Now I am looking at it on my main computer I see a few areas that need a bit more work, I have forgotten to put indent shading at the base of the whiskers. Ahhh!

amazing artwork Christine. fantastic details! it is just amazing to see what can be achieved on the ipad. You set the bar very high. I think this should really get around in the media.

Thank you Copespeak, screenpainter, Pat for your comments.

I am terrible once I start I have to force myself to stop for a break, 10 minutes work can turn into hours.:D Mundane things like housework has to wait.

Super! Love it. It's like watching a devotional artist who possesses the intensity of focus used for copying an illuminated Bible or book of hours.

From your work, I get more than these animal renderings being just an image of something pretty. I perceive a genuine and deep admiration for them on your part with your intention to get the details exactly right. It's a loving celebration of these forms of life on our planet, not to mention the tactile quality of the visualization, perhaps allowing you to in a way 'pet' the very wild animals that might take umbrage to such tactile contact.

You're scoring super high on both counts, the painter's work and the love of animals. Well done!

I simply love this piece, Christine. Can I ask, what stylus did you use? I imagine you used one because of th fine lines, which would be obscured by a finger! My friend and I are having fun learning the tools of Artrage and may need styluses in the future. Also, do you protect your ipad screen in any way?

Every detail is so fine. I showed this one to my daughter and she also loved it. Very well done.

Thank you so much Caesar.

Thank you Greyflo, I use the Adonit Jot Touch its more precise then the sponge tips, it is recommended that you use a screen protector at all times, it only takes a bit of dust under the tip that you don't notice and it could scratch so a screen protector is a must.

Thank you Marilyn.

Your comments about the Adonit Jot Touch and screen cover are very helpful. I have read good things about it. Thanks for taking the time to explain.

Thank you Bobbyray, unfortunately 19 year old Charlie is no longer with us he died sometime last year, from what Dave the photographer told me he used to love to run in the snow at photographers and did some amazing leaps.
