I'm back, who knows for how long..... but was good to do a little "rough" work again, it's been awhile, really rusty at it. Hope you enjoy!

Great painting and yes it looks like what I see when looking out the window altho there is no grasses peaking above the snow here :D

One feel cold immediately, your painting strongly express the "absolute reality" of hard Winter. On the other hand, the very very thin grass, the defined but "weak" greens offers something like "tenderness" of the Winter.

thank you all so very much for your kind words.......... and it was great to peek back in and see people that I shared so much time with awhile ago, Huggs! D Akey, jibes and Mairzie !!! Walks down the line and shakes the hands of the "new" people ( still can't make myself hug strangers) but new is exciting too. I'm now trying to expand the mind of my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter.. so sneaking abit of painting time is like a reward for me now days..... but at least as she grows older, I am getting a bit more time for me. EXCEPT.. now she brings my wacom tablet to me and informs me it's Gwennie's turn to paint.... so my artrage gets a double usage now. But we are even learning colors... 5 years ago when I first experimented with artrage, I never had an inkling that I would be using it as a teaching tool....... hugggggggs all. I'm being called. LOL
