Hello - first testing of the water color brushes. I don't use water colors in a quite a traditional manor. Started painting with water color and tempera paints (often mixing them without knowing any better), whilst looking at realistic oil paintings for inspiration. So I will render this out quite a bit more. Hope they can find a way to add a gravity pull to the color wash bleed.

For a gravity pull, try roughing your canvas up a bit, and then scudding a bit of crayon for texture over the top, then blend lightly. Also play with Gloop Pen, that will give you clear transparency. I also do a selection line before hand to keep things where I want them. :0)

Thanks much! I am looking forward to making this software tool part of my regular creative arsenal. I like the way it is loose - like real media - as opposed to using Photoshop techniques (which are not too similar to the way things are done traditionally) to create the illusion of traditional media.

baby steps forward - still getting the hang of the water color brush (and only little pockets of time here and there to tinker)
