It's a complicated story.... But the kittens aren't what they seem to be :-)71879

Interesting illustration Arjen certainly made me smile, I guess we need to know the story behind it, but those kittens look bad, judging by the look on their faces.
Two Kittens together can spell trouble, we have two brothers laying on the kitchen mat this morning and they sure can be bad when one encourages the other.

Arjen Vriezekolk,
Your request is humbly granted, I won't dare ask but must say, the
artful details including the tile flooring are very well executed. :D

Well limey and mairzie,

The Rusty Knight finds a basket with kittens at his frontdoor....left as orphans....
But once they start exploring the castle they turn out to be nasty little buggers....And are NOT what they seem to be!
A few chapters down the book they turn out to be little tigers.... And only interested in MEAT..... Pink or not.... The pink elephant is the only one who can see the truly are :-)

Run for your life....

Thank you for the nice comments, you are all such a talented and friendly bunch of people!

regards,

Arjen

I thought those kittens looked a bit mean. I love the texture on this! It's a beautiful illustration.

I love the painting and the floor tiles fading out in the distance and the look of the "kittens" now after your explanation the drawing makes complete sense.. and very funny!
