This is a colleague of mine. The extremely talented Patrice Lentin.
I posted the reference alongside, so you can look at likeness too.
The Romy picture (early stage and finished) inspired me to give it a go this way. Hope someone likes it.... :?

Hanzz, Hello..

Nice "caricature"... I like the way you draw him.. Not so easy..

A question ? Why did you let so much layers ?
For me, I would merge all the layers except the top one.

Oh excellent. I'm very impressed with the way you capture the essence of the character through exaggeration.
Your work is fantastic.

THanks everyone..

The number of layers was done ,because
1) I was affraid that the colors would pick up a "neighbour"-color, and
2) If someone gave me an idea to change something, I could wouthout any hassle. Say I wanted a green background? select the background, and change ,or replace it.

Weeks, thanks again for inspiring me. If it wasn't for your post ,I would never have tried it like this.

This is really cool Hanz. I have not tried to convey a person's likeness using exaggeration before. I like what you've done here.

You are a marvel at caricature. I've stopped in at your website a few times and shake my head in awe and wonder. If you are ever at a loss for a subject, I'd love to see what you would do with Bruce Springsteen.

In amusement/theme parks in the States, there is, more often than not, a place where you can stop and get your caricature done. Caricaturists also dot the streets of New York (my hometown), so over the years, I've seen loads. Edit: Over the years, I've seen loads.. of really atrocious caricatures. I love a caricature that's done well, and hanzz, you are a master. Thanks for sharing!
