A magical evening to you, Ms. Coops! This is a very emotional, romantic work from what I can see. It's almost as if you captured the tantalizing mellow submersion of an evening in richly vibrant evening lanes, shimmering shops and restaurants. . . excuse me. . . was having a vacation moment there for a second and was suddenly alarmed that I was without my passport and travelers checks. . .

I agree with the wonderful reception and comments from the other members. Your style is hitting a level of confidence and intuitive brushwork and color and values, supportive of the subjects you choose. With all this happening in this painting, it really delivers a tone as sure as pinging a tuning fork, one prong of which is the abstract and the other the subjective.

All this mileage you've been putting in to your paintings has really been paying off. Nobody can teach you some of the deeper stuff you bring to your paintings. That's got to come from inside. And your personal flair shows up in your work. Go MS COOPS!!!!

Love the loose feel and your choice of colors... This is an incredible painting and one that is worthy of being printed out, framed and hung on wall.....

Oh my oh my dear Mr Akey what wonderful words and once again you bring a smile to my face. Thank you so much for your insight into this painting and I am really amazed at what you see as indeed it was taken from memory of a holiday. You are always so supportive to all in Artrage and I thank you so much:)
