Katie..what a wonderful image the delicate transparency of the petals and the dark greens of the plant.. really quite a nice work..

You can almost grab it and at the same time it is still artistic and not too photographic ... I like it very much!

Katie this is so nice...... hehe bet you can do it in 3d by using an inner frame perhaps? I know you are thinking about it....hehe

Have fun with that. I can't wait to see what you come up with...... I actually thought about your art style when I saw that 3d art.... hummm

I love this, Ms Coops! Reminds me a little of poured glass. Cheers!

It's a really fine style. It creates a lost and found feel overall and not just in spots. It's not just your straight diffusion filter effect, although it does carry that kind of 'feeling' tone about it. Sorta sentimental, like selective memory of past matters of the heart.

Ah, I think I've got what it reminds me a little of: a flower pressed between rice paper and ironed. Of course it wouldn't have black, which is more an Asian inlay color over black lacquer. But it is somewhere in that range. But the combination of associations and the result is fresh to my eye. Very nice.
