Hey. Pleasure to meet you all. There's some really nice stuff on here.

Here's the pastel feature put to use on a little cityscape. Thanks for taking a look!

Hey thanks for the compliments.

I just recently acquired a Wacom tablet so I don't have much work to show. I made this one the other day though...

Thanks. I'll just post them in here as I do them... Might be more convenient that way. I have plenty of free time now, so I might make some more soon.

wow these are deliciously rich in colors and settings....I had not realized you were putting more on the same thread but it keeps popping up so I checked it out and love what I found!... I like your bar scenes and self portrait.. great thick brushwork and clean clever colors make them exciting but recognizable as to the subject.. I hope you get to print a few of these...

Thanks. That really means alot to me. I'm happy people can appreciate my take. As for prints, I don't even know where to go. I think Kinko's chopped away at their printing department... at least it seemed that way last time I went. Where would one go to get a print on a nice thick piece of paper?

I drew this in another program, but I think it's one of my more accurate self portraits. Figured it wouldn't hurt to post it here.

Fun stuff. Love the um. . . "offhand" keyboard self-portrait especially.

The other color stuff has a lot of potential as a technique. I can see a certain stained glass window freed up from the mechanics of pouring leaded glass. Yet very mosaic. Certainly would be fun to trip out on luminous color on the screen against dark backgrounds. There's something very optically tasty about that experience. There was a time in graphics that designers were putting colored fonts using gradients of bright colors against black on glossy stock and it was really gorgeous even without the luminosity of the computer monitor making it dazzling.

What you're doing seems to be in that spirit, sort of like a tasting menu at a high end restaurant.

Sorry. I wrote a lengthy response that got wiped. I'll try to redo that one sometime. I appreciate the thoughts nonetheless. Here is a fireplace.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! The effects of the secret formula wore off. . . I keep wondering what gets into my cats to make them dash and chase about in the wee hours. I suspected, but never believed. Yet I think I'll keep my bedroom door shut while I sleep from now on. :D:D:D

Ha! Nice. It's kind of obtusely goofy, but I was thinking about the fundamentals of good and evil. The dynamic play of aggression and content taken to an absurd end... poking fun at our knowledgeable (epistemological) limits. That, more or less, is what draws me to cartoons.

Is ArtRage 4 any good? Worth the upgrade?76357
