View Full Version : Taprats and AR Stickers

There is a free program called "Taprats" which is a java program that "implements an islamic tiling technique based on the work of Hankin in the early part of the twentieth century, and on more recent papers by A.J. Lee and Craig S. Kaplan. It is written by Craig S. Kaplan and Pierre Baillargeon." I have it downloaded to my computer and play with it from time to time. I have more to learn on using the program but for my purposes today of making Artrage stickers there are a whole bunch of examples preinstalled that can be twicked to get just the right look. It is very stable. I have had no problems running it on my Windows 7 computer. Should run on Macs too. One handy thing it enables sticker creators to do is change the color of the fill color and lines to the 255,0,0 that is best for stickers. It is an empressive freebie.

Here are some images of my first attempt using Taprats to make AR stickers.

These turned out really great! I especially like the 1st one because of more colors and contrast. Good job!
