Hey guys :) :) :)

Happy July, Hope everyone is doing great.

This piece is a commission for my boss, he has a small collection of Pontiac GTO s and he wanted me to do a portrait of one of his cars.
I gladly jumped at the chance.

Its mixed media done with the roller tool, oil brush, ink pen, airbrush and some palm tree stencils.
100% AR Studio Pro.

About 15 layers, and was done in about 5 hours.

Enjoy and many thanks :)

Mike :)

This is Fantastic!!! I owned a 66 Goat. Always regretted trading it off. Man, that thing got me a lot of tickets!

Marvellous style and nice vintage car! I love this illustration!
Maybe some of the background (including a piece of the tree trunk) should be also seen through the windscreen ...

Brilliant work... and a brilliant re-creation of a 1964 GTO.... (I believe 1964 was the first year for the Pontiac GTO and the only year it was called Pontiac Tempest GTO)...

Look forward to more car illustrations & paintings from you....

I just happen to have a shadow for you to help with grounding the vehicle. I do lots a car stuff, so I did a quick pass and matched the perspective for reference. If you want to use it, Import as layer and set it to multiply. If needed erase out the shadow area that occludes the vehicle. I would probably add some blur but try to keep the darker areas directly under the tires dark.
