Done in oil and knife, funny just checked out chinapetes and I think that is the storm she is waiting for...lol

That is lovely Pat, I guess the parasol will not keep her too dry, but I like how you painted it.

Interesting point of view for a quite classical (impressionistic I mean) subject. Luminous and airy, almost windy!

Pat from the look of chinapete's storm I fear for her umbrella...!.:eek::eek::eek:.. an interesting subject done in an impressionistic style... very nice...:cool::cool::cool:

Cute idea. . . and not nearly as salty as the Morton Salt girl with the umbrella.

I think she's adorable, and the mystery you have created makes it as if it's a courting display, in the old school chaste way. . . for a younger girl owing to the shortness of the dress. She's still able to dream before actually coming out.

I think this is perhaps a certain Gay 90s kind of feel that we've seen in certain MGM musicals over the years. If there's not a song here, I'm a goose.
